Enlisted Grades are from E-1(lowest)to E-9(highest) In the Army and Marine Corps an E-1 is a Private. The differant services have differant rank designations attached to the E-1 thru E-9 ratings. Officers start off as O-1 which is 2nd Lieutenant and Progress thru 0-9 which is General. There is also a rank for officers past O-9 which is called General of the Army. These promotions are the rarest of rare.

depends on the branch of service. each branch is different. best option is to go on google and put in military rank structure. if you don't want to do that, then atleast for the army it goes as follows:
E1 PVT private
E2 PV2 private E2
E3 PFC private first class
E4 SPC specialist
E5 SGT sergeant
E6 SSG staff sergeant
E7 SFC sergeant first class
E8 MSG/1SG master sergeant or 1st sergeant
E9 SGM/CSM sergeant major or command sergeant major
O1 2LT second lieutenant
O2 1LT first lieutenant
O3 CPT captain
O4 MAJ major
O5 LTC lieutenant colonel
O6 COL colonel
O7 brigadier general
O8 major general
O9 lutenient general
O10 general
then there are warrent officers but you can look those up. in those ranks, you have extra stuff but that depends of the unit. you have sergeant major of the army and so forth.

What scores? What are those scores you communicate approximately? there is greater suitable than one thank you to get rank interior the defense force. interior the Marine Corps they have the reducing score device for E4 and E5. That device truthfully does no longer discriminate. It bases itself on the guy's maximum difficulty-freed from defense force accomplishments. If somebody has low scores, that's easily their own fault. people who actively look for to earnings rank rapidly frequently do. that's no longer some thing that's going to be exceeded to them. Race isn't a factor in scoring because it rather is a working laptop or laptop that registers no rely if or no longer you met the score for that promoting month. larger ranks do no longer pass off of any score device and decrease ranks are given after somone's been in for see you later. I truthfully have by no ability seen anybody interior the Marine Corps get promoted so as to fill some style of affirmative action quota.
