I just turned 32 and it makes me feel kinda funny. All of a sudden I feel really old... I feel like I look old and I act old. I feel unattractive to men ... and washed-up. Like I'm a desperate single gal. My friends, of course, think I'm crazy. How this happened to anyone else? How do I stop feeling like this?

If your old then I must be antique. Ha! I remember 30 was a bad anniversay to celebrate. 40 was easier and now that I've hit the big 5-0 doesn't bother me at all. So remember your only as old as you allow yourself to be. Keep your mind young and you'll continue to feel young for a long time.

You are not crazy, and you are not old. There are many women your age are still single and enjoying it, you still have a whole life ahead of you and there are no age limit to being attractive to men, if they do not accept you as you are, then they are the ones that have a problem. When you do not take care of yourself and if you do smoke and drink, there is a possibility that you may look older than your age, but if you do not do any of those things, then you have no problem. Be optimistic and upright, you are not alone and i sudjest that you be patient and wait, that perfect and right guy will come your path and it will worth the waiting and the timing, in the mean time have fun and explore the world, travel, go places, participate in sports, change your outlook, change your appearance, and before you know it, it will be difficult for you to choose which guy your should go out with, enjoy your life and stop feeling sorry for yourself, you will do more damage and hurt to yourself. At 32, you have a lot to achieve and learn from life.

Yeah, Sophie. I have been through it. It happened when I turned 30. But, my friends took me out for a night on the town. I had all these younger guys hitting on me despite the age difference. I had a blast. After a while (like a couple of weeks), I realized it was just me thinking I looked old. As far as acting old, I like to refer to it as maturity! It is a good thing! I am sure you're beautiful and full of youth and vigor. Listen to your friends honey. Happy belated Birthday! I hope you partied the night away!

You are as old as all the friends you grew up with. What will really make you feel old is walking through the mall.
Either way, eat right, exercise and wear sexy clothing and you can still turn a man's head. Even younger men.

well people tend to feel like that when they hit their 30s but don't feel like that, people start living in their late 30s all the way to 40. you are not old. 32 is still young. what happens is that you feel like that because you are telling yourself that you are old, but you are mature that is something totally different. if you feel so bad about it or keep thinking the same, i think that you should get a makeover to boost your confidence.

I always say you're only as old as you feel. 32 isn't old. More and more people are living into their 80's and 90's.
