Well Sway, I'll explain this very, very slowly to you. " War of the Worlds" was a ficticious story about Martians invading the planet earth. Then it became a movie. Scared the hell out of a lot naive, knee-jerk people.
Immigration is the act of someone moving to another country, legally. Illegal aliens are just that. They are not immigrants or Martians, just very POOR people looking for a better life, like all of us are. And they come from all parts of the world, knowing America is the BEST place to be. We need a better immigration policy, and to stop paying Billions of dollars per year to the corrupt countries that encourage illegal aliens to come here. As to the Martians, I don't think any of us need to worry.

Well, for one, in War of the Worlds the invaders were of another species. Illigal immigrants are human, homo sapiens.
Secondly, what gives you or me the right to say this is "our" country? Our ancestors stole it from the Native Americans.
INS has arbitrary rules about who can come into the country and in what percentages. Maybe if the Native Americans had been as strict then people like you woulnd't be here now.
