Four hours isn't enough time for you to leave the airport and see anything. There is nothing exciting to do at the airport. However, there is one thing you can do that is unique to Hawaii. Inside the gate area, there is a small Lappert's Ice Cream stand. You can have a snack somewhere and then walk to Lappert's where you can get extremely high quality ice cream, made in Hawaii and using all Hawaiian flavors. My personal favorite is Kauai Pie. Imagine coffee ice cream with coconut, macadamia nuts and chocolate.

There are two terminals--one is for international, the other is interisland. They are both at the airport and are well marked.
