And how does He decide which one to use? According to the Bible, He seems to try out different methods - floods, pestulence, pillar of salt, you have it - just for the novelty.

He kind of reminds me of a kid trying out different ways to wipe out an ant hill.

I think you have to say he pulled out all the stops on that flood thing,total annihilation,and a neat trick to boot since there is not enough water to cover the entirety of the earths surface

What makes you think God likes punishing people He loves? I think God only punishes people to teach them, not to have fun. God isn't like a Greek myth that has fun at a human's expense, God loves all of us and wants us to live with Him forever. He just wants us to be obedient, too.
