I think you mean "amla" or Indian gooseberry. It's a fruit that's extract is said to be really good for all kinds of hair problems. It's also a powerful anti-oxidant and helps to flush toxins out of the body. You can find amla oil at any herbal beauty store. None of the mainstream brands sell amla products though.

It is AMLA.

The Indian gooseberry (Phyllanthus emblica) is a deciduous tree of the Phyllanthaceae family. It is known for its edible fruit of the same name

The fruit allegedly contains 720 mg of vitamin C per 100 g of fresh fruit pulp, or up to 900 mg per 100 g of pressed juice.

Particularly in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, the fruit is pickled with salt, oil, and spices, and also used as a primary ingredient in the Ayurvedic tonic Chyawanprash. Its extract is popularly used in inks, dyes, shampoos and hair oils.

In Hinduism it is regarded as a sacred tree and worshipped as Mother Earth in India
