Okay so my friend and I both like this one girl. He knew her longer than I have we both just met her this year. I just met her a couple of days ago at our homecoming dance. We both like her but I don't know if i should just let my friend have her. At lunch she always walks over and calls me over to talk. Today she made me go to her locker with her when my friend could have gone with her. At our dance she said she was cold so she just got really close to me. What should I do?

Unless your friend directly verbally told you he likes her and claimed her as his crush then you have no reason not to persue her. If your really worried about making your friend mad at you for persuing her, then you may want to talk to him, on the other hand if he's too chicken to act on it then that's his fault. He's known her for a year? Come 'on now, he's had his time!
She seems to be giving you the right signals...especially the "I'm cold" thing. Who knows, she may have been interested in him until she met you and changed her thought. She also might not be interested in him at all, other than just as a guy friend. I suggest you try asking her out on a date and see where that goes.

You don't know if you "should just let" your friend have her? What, are you kidding me? Who she likes/dates is her decision - you don't get to "do" anything. She may not be into either of you. She may be interested in both of you - in which case you'll have to decide if you both can live with that.

I think you should not let her go just because your friend likes her too. She may even end up liking you.

you should talk 2 youre friend about it cos if u go with her things could get a bit ugly with ur friend but if she means more 2 you then ur friend go 4 it its ur choice m8
