i need immediate help. plzzzzz.?
i am 18 years old but i don't have any moustache or beard yet. i do shave sometimes to make it grow more faster but i am still not getting any result. i look like 15 or 16 fr not having those. plz give me tips on how to have those very quickly and if shaving helps on growing those. i really need moustache and beard. all of my friends had beard and tash when they were like 14-15 or 16. they tease me for this reason and i am so pissed off about it. is there even any product which i can apply to make it grow artificially.??

i think beard and moustache makes a boy look like a man and much older than their age and i like it. i dont have any probs. with shaving. i like to shave anyway.

Shaving does not help. All shaving does is leaves hair that you already have with blunt ends, so that it looks thicker. There is not much you can do. Some guys always have problems with this. My man is 30 and has a patch that will not grow hair if tried to grow a beard. You will like this young look later, when your 30 and can pick up 21 year olds.

A lot of people think that shaving makes hair grow faster.......it doesn't.
And if there's no hair to shave YET, and you are doing it anyway, it may create the opposite effect : you may "ruin" your skin.

Despite being a woman, I understand the predicament you're in, and I feel for you, but as far as I know there's nothing you can do to force facial-hair to grow.
If it helps any : you're not the only man who has this "problem".
Eh.....the following question may sound as if I'm trying to make fun of you, but nothing could be further from the truth, so here goes : do you have pubic-hair? If not, there's no need for panic, but you may wanna consult your GP, maybe your problem is caused by a simple hormonal thing.

I very well remember the days when I was 18, I looked like I was 13 or 14 (no kidding), and i desperately tried to look my real age.
Now, many, many moons later, I'm really glad I still look a bit younger than my age.....and YOU will be too when you get older. (a cliche, I know, doesn't help you any now.....but you may get a laugh out of it when you're older, trying to look younger)

Shaving even if you don't need to can help because it blunts the ends of fine hairs and makes them more obvious. If you have hair in the other usual places don't worry about it, you'll get facial hair eventually, but even then, some people don't get a thick growth. If you haven't got the other hair then you could have an issue. If thats the case go to your docs and explain your concerns, he can check your testosterone levels and maybe give you some pills if he thinks you need it. Good luck, and by the way a smooth, young looking face on a mature sensetive guy is very attractive so don't worry!

Well you're doing it all wrong, contradictory to common belief, shaving actually gets rid of facial hair instead of grows it... therefore you must not shave it to grow it...
