I have a smart chip in my digital camera. I recently transferred the photos to my PC and unfortunately lost the file. So, is it possible I can still retrieve the photo from the memory chip?

Sure you can. Just be sure when you download the pictures to your PC, do not select erase disk (smart chip) after download. The best way to reuse the smart chip is to erase the chip from within the camera itself. Since some smart chips has programs built in for camera options. Such as the older Olympus cameras. The program inside the smart chip allows the camera to shoot in panoramic mode. Hope this help, and hope you shoot ten back at me. :)

Hi, you can use Google picasa to help your photo management.

picasa is a Google's photo software. It's what should've come with your camera.

It can Edit , organise and Share you picture and small video flips.

It's very easy to use and is free, just like Google

Download it free in here:
