I seriously don't think there is very many if any that can do this, especially know of it all before hand.
It take someone special, like God's son Jesus, Thank you Jesus, thank you God.
I don't know if I can, I'll would have to be there to get the true feel.
Do you think, that you knowing what was going to happen to you, have that done to you, them large nails, beating, whip and cut to peices?
Only God can do that for us. knowing it all.

Thank God I don`t have to make that decision, and lucky for everyone else too, because If I said yes, it could be a lie, if I say no, then where is my love, for my fellow humans. tough question, I decline to make a decision on that one... Thank God for his son.

If I believed it would help yes,I'm often amazed how it seems so many seem to act as if this fate only ever befell Jesus. However after the slave revolt led by the Thracian Spartacus fell he an around six thousand of his followers were crucified along the appian way. The order to pull the bodies down was never given thus meaning that passersby may have had those bodies as a visual warning of Romes power for months if not years. And truthfully I actually have more admiration for a man who would risk that fate than a God who could stop it anytime he wanted to.

If I died, it wouldn't save anyone. Only Jesus ever could and will save people, because only Jesus ever did and ever will live a sin-free life. I don't know what I would do if God told me I would have to die a death like Jesus, with the torment and then the cross. I would probably be praying the whole time, but feel unworthy.

I am a Christian, I don't know if I would honestly die for so many lives, knowing what people would do in the future. Knowing people would talk bad about me and persecute me. And also when you think about it God had to abandon His only son and let Him die for us sinners when He did nothing wrong. That I find amazing. That is beyond me. I'm just glad He did it or else we would never be able to worship God forever in Heaven. I can't wait. But would I do it, I don't think I could die for sinners like us. May God bless you. : )

No....I don't think so. And you are right. Only Jesus could have done it. The reason? God only loves humanity enough to go through with it, and Jesus was the only qualified, sinless person to do it.

My friend God gives us the grace to endure such treatment and faith in life after death (which is true) gives us hope. There are many who have not only been crucified but tortured and killed in other ways. In the Catholic Church we call them martyrs (which comes from the Greek meaning "witness"). In our history St. Peter the Apostle was crucified upside down outside of Rome. Paul Miki (a Korean Catholic) was crucified with his friends and still evangelized. In fact, he said, "Since I am crucified I cannot possibly lie to you about Christ." St. Lawrence was cooked on a grill in Rome. He was reputed to say to his torturers, "Turn me over I am done on this side." If you are called and led to such a destiny, God gives us the grace to carry through if you ask for it.
May the Lord bless and keep you. May He let the light of His face shine upon you.
God's and your beast of burden

We are nothing but mere men who hammer the nails in deeper everytime we sin. No. Neither you or I would be able to say that we could take jesus' place. i did think on it for a while, and realized that I cant compare myself to Christ without feeling guilt. I feel the guilt because I was thinking if I would die like he did. But really, i would be killing myself. For I killed jesus. My sin did, I mean, i didnt literaly shoot Him, but he stood infront of me as the bullet flew towards my chest. Oh man, you got me in tears now. Praise JESUS! Praise him because we could never be so prideless to die for the sins of others. He alone is good.

The trouble is that you are very sick, because that cruel death that came to hundreds of thousands of people, in the Roman rule, did not prevent even one death, then, nor. now.
Killing one person cannot bring any others back from the dead!
Those superstitious tales that you are telling will get more people killed!
Only very sick people perpetuate a tale of such dastardly gore and horror, in order to further some insane plan!

You ask real hard hitting questions don't you? Yes, I hope and would pray for the strength to endure whatever His will is. It would be tough and torturous I would imagine, but if that's what He asked me to do, that's what I would do. But saying isn't doing, but I would pray for the courage to follow His will, as ALL is possible with God.

God promises those who are his to "take us through the waters" when it is our time to die.
I don't think I could endure the torture he did. If we had to martyred for our faith who knows how I would handle it? I'd praying to Jesus the whole time before I was executed.
