To become an aviation officer you have to go to college first. You have to get a bachelor's degree either before you join or get a senators recommendation for the Officer Candidate School (Navy officer college basically). Anyways you have to have 20/20 vision, willing to sign up for four years, (on top of the time you spend in OCS if you go there). You will be sent to a crappy area like Lemoore, CA (where I'm stationed) or Whidbey Island, WA (was stationed in Washington also, not too bad a place) or Pensacola, FL (okay not crappy, you got me). You don't have to be the smartest person to become an officer, but you have to be dedicated to become an aviation officer. Cause it will take a long time before you get to fly a jet on a regular basis. YEARS!... Good Luck!!!

Just about a 99 because you don't take the asvab for officer qualifications. If you can't score a 99 on the asvab (based on 8th grade reading and 9th grade math) find a new profession. Oh, if you weren't aware, there are much better jobs in the militay than aviation.
