And peace untill you bring up something that they don't believe in. And then it's all about hate and going to hell, when thier God always speaks of leading the way to "him" with Love.
I am a Witch, and am sick and tired of the hypocritical bullshit that they put forth. They always say that they are trying to "save" you, when you are the only one that can save yourself.
And one other thing, I really, really want to know what Jesus saves. Does he save bottle caps, pokemon cards, hubcaps, no really I want to know what he saves since he is not corporeal.

Ok here you are you people have no sense of humor when it comes to your "religion". The saves comment was a joke, I know that He doesn't save anything, I was just wondering who could laugh about themselves, but as usual I find that people are just uptight.

I for one do not have a problem with what you choose to believe. It is not the same as what I believe but that is the choice each one of us makes.
Would you not agree that many so-called Christan's are the main reason that many refuse to believe as they believe? Think about it for a minute. As you have rightfully pointed out. Love, peace, joy and happiness is what we hear many claim yet the actions are anything but that.
Look at the teachings of Jesus and you will find that, yes he did teach Love. Love you neighbor as yourself but when it comes time to love your neighbor as yourself then it seems that some want to pick and choose who their neighbor is. Wrong.
Fact is this if one is true to their claims to Jesus then they are by faith suppose to model their lives after his teachings. Treating others in the manner in which you want to be treated yourself. Loving ones enemies. Putting others before yourself. Having compassion (concerned passion, concerned love) for others. Becoming selfless instead of selfish. These are the things that I try to aspire to. I fall short but I still try. It is the model that by faith I claim to follow. Instead of pointing the finger of judgment, I say judge me on what I profess. If it is true then it will show in my actions and in my deeds. Not by the words that I speak, because words are meaningless unless actions and deeds follow.
I have made my choice and do try to follow through. You have also made your choice, though I may not agree with your choice it does not give me the right to condemn. Nor does it mean that I could not still call you friend. See this is where deed and action come in to play. True proof in ones faith is shown by the actions and not by the names one calls oneself.

Jesus saves souls. And He saved my life from self destruction. I finally realized that I couldn't save myself and turned to God. My life has totally changed for the better. I am sorry that so many Christians have given you a false impression of the way Christianity is supposed to be.

I do. I consistently advise what I say. I hardly have the "oops...I don't have stated that" 2d. i know some say " i admire you" and don't advise it in any respect. Reminds of me lyrics interior the recent John Mayer track..."Who Says". the line is "Who says i can not get stoned call up a woman that i used to nicely known pretend love for an hour or so" i assume human beings can pretend saying "i admire you" for an hour or so too... :)

Alot of Christians jump peoples **** about being different than they are,not realizing how horrible and mean it truly makes them look.
I believe that the whole "saving"thing is between the person and God(Jesus). I also believe that Jesus saves people.
(I base most of my beliefs around the book of John)

Well what you believe yourself to be sick of is entirely your own business, but think about it for a moment - if there are people who genuinely believe they've latched onto something that does "save".... would the "loving" thing be to horde that knowledge to oneself... or share it?
Just some food for thought.

no no no, you're thinking in terms of earthly saving, worldly saving. we're talking about saving something totally unworldly and unearthly- your soul...that's what jesus does, if you believe in him he will give you eternal life!! what's better than that?
and i'm sorry to hear of the christians you have encountered that have been hypocritical. being christian doesn't mean we dont make mistakes either, though. doesn't mean we're perfect. we're human, we know that. or at least i do. and talking about going to hell doesn't mean hate - god loves you no matter what your religion is, or your race, creeds, etc. however god doesn't want to give eternal life to people who aren't worthy of it, meaning people who haven't accepted his love and vowed to love him back. being christian simply means that you have accepted god's love for you.

I get a chuckle when people say "God Bless" when they are upset with someone.
When someone says you are wrong they always end in "God bless"
