The issue you are having with the media files not playing can be a little harder to figure out. Try to use windows update to find any kind of patches for the player, and see if there are any optional updates for it. if that ends up fixing the problem, when you download a song through imesh, you should either have windows media player update a certain folder frequently by going thru the tools drop down menu, to the options. Click on the media library tab and click on monitor folders. hit add and locate the folder that all of you imesh stuff is going to. that should help.. one other thing. make sure that all of the file types that you listen to are checked off in the windows media player's options about file types. i dont think that would help your problem, but if your'e using windows media player alot then you'll probably want that stuff checked off.

It may be codecs or patches, but iMEsh is designed to work with WMP with no problems
Now take a breath! It'll be OK!
iMesh only works with Windows 2000 & XP, and WMP 9 or higher. Check what your WMP version is by clicking help, then "About"
If you need to dl the totally new WMP11, go to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/download/download.aspx and get it. It's only been 7 weeks, and I've been using it since day1, and love it. You can get WMP 10 at the same link.
Go to Tools > Options > click the tab for File Types and make sure EVERYTHING is checked off.
If it's licencse acquistion error, I hit the iMesh website, and if you have the premium version of iMesh, they recommend downloaading the latest WMP, then restarting your computer when it's done. Then, go to iMesh and download their latest version. When it's done and you sign in, DO NOTHING for 5 minutes. Once signed in, do nothing (we mean it, this is very important), and wait for 5 minutes without touching your computer whatsoever. This is important, as iMesh needs to reacquire licenses for your songs.
When the 5 minutes elapse, proceed to play some of your tracks; there may be a slight pause upon attempting to play the first track, and then everything will return to normal functionality.
If you still ahve problems, you can contact their support at http://wa.imesh.com/support/bugreport/ before you start hosing your PC with codecs and stuff
If you get it working again, just click help in WMP... it explains everything you need in almost plain English.
Good luck!

Open window media player and do a file search which is located in one of the icons up top. I think its under file. Then if you know where your music is stored on your hard drive, just search that area for media files.

Well personally I think you should stop pirating music and buy the CD. But what you need to do is locate the song file and then drag it in to your WMP library. If the files are not corrupted, then this should work. But I still think you should buy the CD.
