Good question. If you are really trying to lose weight, try going to herbdoc.com and looking up herbal rememdies that will help you. Although I will tell you right now I lost 30 pounds in thirty days by eating vegetables and fruits and cutting out all meat but chicken and fish. And walking 2 or miles every day. I also quit smoking and now I have more energy and vitality than I have had in the last 40 years. Try it. You cannot lose anything except weight.

I can't lose weight either. I ride 1100-1500 miles on my bike and, guess what, no weight loss!!!

Here's what is happening....

As you exercise you build up muscle. Muscle is much more dense than fat tho, so you'll lose INCHES. The fat is burned away, the muscle builds up, you don't lose weight per se, but you do lose INCHES.

In fact, that's what I'd suggest for anyone starting an exercise program... measure thighs, tummy, butt, breasts, arms... all the usual spots. Don't pay attention to the scales for the first 3 months, just measure the inches, and look for fat being "replaced" by muscle.

Some other tips for you

- Pump iron with heavy metal on the radio. Get in touch with that anger, and you'll push the workout much farther, and burn off that depression.

- Have someone show you how to hit and kick a body bag and punching bag. Same reasons.

- Get a heart rate monitor (under $50 on eBay). Keep your heart rate at roughly 80% of 220 minus your age (if you're age 20, that's 80% of 220-20, or 160 beats per min). That will tell you when you're pushing hard enough, and when you're pushing too hard. I can't imagine running w/o one.

- Listen to a MP3 player while running. Get lost in that world while you're running. Again, I love high-energy music -- jock jams if I'm in a good mood, and angry heavy metal if I'm p*ssed.

- Join a class. Everyone started out where you are today. Every top runner I've ever met stays around to applaud the last person who staggers past the finish line, and those people get the biggest applause.

- email me if you need to vent some more.

First and foremost I would suggest counselling for your depression and anger...I feel for you...weight loss is one of the hardest things in the world.

Once you can accept that there is no magic pill, that you will only see results when you are willing to put forth the effort, then you will lose weight.

Try this free weight loss website. http://www.sparkpeople.com

It's not magic, you still have to put forth effort and no one else can do that for you. You have to take responsibility and just do it. I have lost 25 lbs in the last 7.5 weeks using this site and tracking my calorie intake and exercising 6 days a week for 30 minutes of cardio and strength training 3x a week for 30 minutes.

I wish you all the best! God bless you...

you need to go to the emergency room at the closes hospital to you asap. they will treat you for anxiety id think. don't forget weight loss is a 30billion dollar a YEAR industry and nothing you can buy aver the counter will work. You need to get on some meds for your depression and then work on your self esteem...that will work in the long run. Dont do anything to harm yourself. think of your family and friends, as they are the ones who'll be left here to deal with it
