and she really likes her best friend (it`s a guy) and he really seems to like her but he wont admit it and were not sure if he`s just really nice or if he does like her. Any advice on how to find out if he does or not, other than asking because she already tried that and he just changed the subject.

if he changed the subject that probably means no. or he might, but just doesn't want anything more than friendship (he may think it could damage the friendship ,etc)

the reason i say this is because, what other reason would he change the subject for, how easy is it for a nervous/shy guy when he's being asked right there, all he has to do is say "yes". Unless he just really didn't like or want anything with this person. Hopefully this helps.

Men usually try to keep the girl they like, so the first thing they do is let the girl know they like them, they even say more than how much they really do.
So if he did not admit, you knew the answer. When you tried to ask he changed the subject, you were sure about it.

Changing of the subject often implies that he wants to keep the friend in his "back pocket" for possiblities in the future, but probably has some complications right now (current girlfriend, ex drama), regardless, he's avoiding the commitment right now and stringing you along.

well its obvious that this "friend is you"! you need to make sure that you really like this guy friend first because if you don't think that it will be anything serious and you just want to have a boyfriend or something then you need to forget about it because you don't want to ruin a good friendship! But if you really do like this guy then have a one on one talk with him ask him about girls and who he likes if he says "i don't know" or nothing to specific he's probably trying to cover his feelings for you then you can get into a deep conversation with him, but if he does like someone else then just day "oh,i was just interested in knowing for my "friends" sake!

hope i was help - Patrick

She should kiss him even if she has to have a few drinks with him to do it she should go for it...in a one on one first kiss setting of course. Wouldn't want to have a bad started memory for something that could potentially maybe take off into...who knows what

if he changed the subject then he probly don't like her in that way you should ask him if he likes your friend if he askes you why tell him she likes you and she want to know if you feel the same.

He's answered it... Without any further details, I think he likes her and would like to move to a more intimate level... He's probably not wanting to destroy the friendship...
