Well I am not, but it's a personal choice, so as long as it makes you happy, stay a virgin.

I'm still a virgin and will be 20 next month. I don't think its too bad of a thing at all. I just really don't feel like being like my friends and end up getting pregnant or getting a std from some dude that is only a one night stand. Or someone you are planning your life around and he isn't even thinking of you in that way. I say women and guys really need to be in control of their virginity, don't let someone force you into giving it up just because they want some sex. Because in the end you are the only one left with the kid or some diease you hadn't thought you would have gotten. Be smart about it.

You don't have to ask the question. Yours is the norm, you obviously have goals in life that are attainable only with positive, life affirming values that matter in life. I suspect that most women, as they approach marriage for the first time with a guy they didn't think they would ever find, wish to hell they had waited. That is definitely a female thing because of the nurturing instinct the vast majority of women feel. Men? They are too simple to comprehend the concept of virginity UNTIL they are marching down the aisle. Then they get it and they are in awe of you and women like you.

Lots of people want to wait for marriage; there's nothing wrong with it whatsoever. There's really not much else I have to say. We live in a promiscuous society, so it's even harder to stick to your beliefs, but doing so makes you that much more awesome. Let's just hope the guy is worthy. At the very least, he'll be glad you're giving him the main course, and not some shoddy leftovers. Yay for you!

I work at a reception hall & of the couples that come through there aren't very many virgins left - but there are some - so don't feel alone!

You're not alone. I am 21 and still untouched. I am saving myself too. I used to wonder when that guy would come. The one that would understand. But, you know what, I know he's out there. Until I find him, I'll just concentrate on school and my future career. I only want to share myself with one man in my life. That will mean the world to me.

i think your decision is right..ive talked to a lot people who have had sex and wished they had waited until marriage..if the person that loves you really loves you..they will wait. some people wait cauz of catholic or christian reasons..but the thing is that deosnt really matter cauz its good to wait anyways..you will be the most happy if yuo do that. you can experience other affectionate things and it doesnt have to be sex...and sex isnt that great after all..many other things to enjoy...people dont want to admitt it..but they wish they had waited, i know i do.
