I'm tired of gang members getting something for nothing,I left L.A. because they were driving me nuts,they chose the lifestyle by themselves,let them get out of it by themselves,I tried helping them a few times and each time they took advantage of it.they get perks for being hoodlums,creating crime,slavery through drugs and manipulation.They live in a prison mentality,and wherever they go they spread that mentality and fear to those who cant defend themselves.Giving them more isnt going to fix a dang thing,its like giving a drug addict booze to stop using drugs.I had to work hard for my self why should I cater to them,their not unfortunate,they chose that life and style,let 'em keep it and maybe one day they'll realize that they are just a plague on us all.thier motto is laugh now cry later,why should I help them in any way when I see while they're in the time of laughing,they make others cry whom aren't in a gang,so when thier actions come back to them I should tell them here..sorry your life didnt end up well 'cause of your choice on what to be.........screw'em

It's a funny thing about gangs . . . they are formed for the sole purpose of creating strength in numbers and with an agenda to be on the wrong side of the law. They dress alike and probably carry weapons ... YET as visible as they are, and as clear their intention to do harm, the greater society cannot rely on the law to protect it against them. They stand on street corners and all but shout "Look at me! Look at us! We're bad and glad of it!" And no one does anything about it. It will have to be up to the ordinary citizens to get together and break up the gangs.

we should have a jail that would hold them and put everyone in there that even mentions the word gang. then kick their a** every day for bout 20 years that will break up the gangs

Educate them! They are just ignorant. Most Gang members have been abused or neglected thus they feel loved my their gang associates!

Give them an unlimited supply of drugs and weapons and the problems will solve itself shortly.
They already have been offered a free education and other government assists (food stamps, etc.) growing up, they choose otherwise.

i say deport them if they are here illegally they are breaking the law...
but if they still haven't broken the law or anything take them in and educate them...
