I got rid of my land line over 1 year ago...the best decision I've ever made...now I got VoIP, and never had a problem with it...for only 19.99 a month...I have a cellphone which I programed to have the same number like my home phone(VoIP).....lots of saving here....

cell phone. Don't need both. I can take a cell anywhere, for only a little more $ than a land line costs.

We're cell phone only. Its nice to not get phone solicitations EVER, our land line was getting 4 or so a day. The only disadvantage is its pretty expensive to call the UK.

Land line, where I live a cell phone is no use to me, I'm in the country, no towers close.

As of today I have cell phone only. Pay enough for Comcast cable, their high speed and Verizon cell without paying AT&T land line.

I have both. I love my home phone because i can talk on it for hours and hours and not worry about getting a huge bill. ANd my cell is great for when i sleep out and people cant get ahold of me. i need it to call busy and see were my friends are when i go to meet them. But if i had to pick one over the other i would pick my cell because you can just go to pay as you go and people can always find you and in case of emergencies

I have both, but a lot of people I know have gotten rid of their land lines completely and just use their cel.

I don't trust cel phones much, so I need to have both.

I have both.

My jobs always pay for my cells, so when I job hop every few years, I have to give the cell back.

I have MCI's Neighborhood plan at home. I am very happy with them.
