Matthew 24:14 This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations then the end will come.
Someone has to preach? If you know the truth about God then it is your obligations to preach.
Mark 8:38 For whoever becomes ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation the son of man will also be ashamed of him when he arrives in the glory of his father with the holy angels.
Look at the filthy questions on answers! Some are so vulgar and the speech is shocking. When some try to talk about God and his promises. They gripe and complain "How can they do that?"
"Talk to us about the bible?" While they wallow in filth. From prostitutes to homosexuals. Asking questions about there private parts like it is really funny. Like we really care how long it is. But it bothers you to talk about God?
I remember in school, I got in trouble for talking about God.
While they openly discuss their sexual encounters, how good this boy is in bed. And who is on the pill, which was everyone.
The filty language and jokes make me sick.
Your afraid of what these people may think of you?
Start preaching, a little religion isn't going to hurt them no matter where it is done. The Churches isn't teaching them anything.

It is never bad to talk about God no matter where u r. That's like asking if it's bad to talk about your parents. People will always have their own opinions especially on the subject of God. It's inevitable. Just do what u feel comfortable with.

I've always considered religion to be a very personal subject, and thought it was in poor taste to assume someone else's comfort level with the subject. You are better off asking people what they believe, and why. Most folks are willing to talk about their own beliefs, and perhaps their unanaswered questions. Listen, and you might learn.

What do you care what people think? I met this wonderful old lady who came into a coffe shop I worked at every sunday and invited god down for coffee--she'd chat up a storm with him, and it was the sweetest thing you ever saw!

This depends on your personal concept of God, but if you don't want to offend anyone then it would behoove you to consider whom you are talking to God in front of and how loud you are talking to him. I talk to God all the time. I don't care if people think I'm schizophrenic... especially when perfect strangers hear me arguing with him.

Why not?? Are you ashamed of God?? Jesus said that if you deny Him in front others, then He will deny you in front of the Father. I believe in freedom of speech, so if I want to express my belief in God anywhere I have the right. I proudly stand up for all of my beliefs even if they may be controversial. I'm sorry if someone else does not believe the same, but I will not be ashamed to admit I am a Catholic.
What may be wrong is cramming your views down someones throat and calling them names because they do not believe the same. But just mentioning that you believe in God or that you are Christian and respectfully discussing it with others is fine. It would be terribly intolerant of others to hate you because you believe in God, and it would be wrong of you to deny it because you are afraid of what others think.

Like praying? Remember what the bible says about public displays like yelling and all that... just say a silent prayer, bow your head, etc and don't worry about what people think. Freedom of religion means even praying to God! ;-)

Who cares what people think, if your speaking to lift him up who knows who'll you'll touch. Maybe somebody had a really bad day and you have said something to encourage them and turned a bad situation into something good.

I find it annoying. if you're at work you're there to do a job not spout off about what you believe. Other people dont want to hear about religion at work. Thats something you should keep to yourself

If people can talk about anything offensive to CHristians, I have freedom of speech to bring the truth out.
If you are concerned what others think, then you fear man more than God.
