MLK was a great man. I don't know why they killed him except to say that someone believed he was getting too big for his britches. We lost more than a good man. There has been nobody since who comes close to him. I put him n the same category as Gandhi. Who else in this world has achieved so much social change without violence? Wow! do we need someone like them now.

I am black and he saved me and other blacks from slavery....and he died all because one white person which is James Earl Ray wanted to kill him...I am still sad! I am so glad you ask that question because it made me think that going to school and having the right to do things is an oppurtunity for us blacks to have white friends like you but no offense! I loved that question and if there were to vote for best question I would pick only you cause I did not know you as a white person would bring that up on this site!That is cool and it shows me deep inside that even an white person cares about a black hero and you are the first person well...white person i know that cares about him! That is if you are white and if you aren't ....well...I am completly sorry!!!!!

It was not a white person this one young lady stab Dr king and she was black , some White people dislike black why I don't no but They most of white people march with Dr King they believe in treating peoples right I was a child everyone who was white did not hate blacks. because if they did we will still be walking in the back doors. some white people die in the civil war they gave they life, and the norther won this is why we or free to enjoy life because some one love one die for us to be free. and I thank them for that.you have to talk to Dr King son or daughter about who took his life it could have been a kkk.Because there or good people in this world and there or bad people in all race.I dont no who took Dr King life but I miss him and I love Dr King he was a wonderful man and careing man. and so was his wife only God knows god see everything .I wish we all could make Dr King Dream come alive, love each other help each other and treat each other right and respect each other. I wish the hate and the killing, and rape, robbing people and car jacking and drug would just stop,We all need to come to gether as one and share our thought with each.I hate to say white I like to say people I wish we could make this a better world to live in we need to start some where. If I am wrong please tell.

One reason it was in God's plan... for Jesus, the M L King JR perhaps it to was in God plan.... for one or many reasons, perhaps King like Jesus established what it was they started.
