returned the dog to its owner, who asked what she owed.

"Why that's simply outrageous!" she stormed. "That's what's wrong with you Maine people, you're always trying to over charge summer visitors. Whatever do you do in the winter, when we're not being gypped here?"

Roxy...the Vet wasn't impressed that the customer complained, so he told him that in his spare time he raised porcupines. Economics; supply and demand. He basically meant that he raised porcupines to get the people to come in with their dogs so that he could make money off them.
