Basically me and my ex broke up a while ago and started talking again recently.At first i knew he was telling me the truth when he said that he still loved me and thought that if we tried we could really make things work but now i really don't know what's going through his mind and why he's acting like such an jerk to me all over again.I know i hurt him and put him through a lot in the past and he isn't over that yet but he did the same to me and i feel the same but i don't play games with him and i feel like he's just jerking me around now.I don't know what happened to make him change his mind about working things out with me and i know that he's with other girls but i'm sure they were there since we started talking again so why are things different now.He doesn't come and see me anymore,barely calls and when i do speak to him he still says he loves me but then why won't he make time for me anymore and give me all these excuses.Is the love gone that quick or did i do something wrong?

He probably just wanted to relive the naughty stuff from your relationship and only wants to give you the time of day if he thinks he might get that. So when he talks to you he'll tell you stuff you want to hear to keep his options open, but you're basically just a safety net now.

I don't think that anything you did was wrong but, I think that you guys need your space. When you first break up it is always hard to say good bye to a person especially when you were/are in love with them and things just don't work out. But, it helps when you have time away form that person and can sit back and analyze things from outside the relationship instead of from the inside. You might see things differently and have a new perspective on things. In the mean time, explain to him how he makes you feel even if it seems like he doesn't care it will make you feel better and it will put him in check.

Yes, you did something wrong,you took him back when he brought up this bs we can work it out.He doesn't love you at all he probably just misses what was going on between you two got caught in the miss and you fell for it.He just wants to hurt you all over again and you are still with him to support that decision.You better get rid of him fast before you really regret it and end up hurt again,you are never suppose to go backwards you always suppose to go forward there is a reason yall broke up so that shows you yall mistakes and not to repeat it in your next relationship.Good Luck to you,and I hope you get rid of that jerkazoid.

just talk to him and see if you get any of the old bad feelings back, like hes not telling the truth or something. Its hard going back, I spent 9 months getting over a 5yr relationship and guess whos back almost in it again! I don't know what to do either good luck

It doesn's sound like you did anything recently to trigger it, it sounds like he is fighting and trying to sort out his own feelings on it. Give him some time to mull it all over.
