... tell us to do things like throw away our tarot cards and pentacle just because you don't believe in what we do or you think its evil when we have enough respect for you that we don't tell you to throw away your Jesus statues and cross.
Honestly, we respect you enough not to do that, can you not respect us enough not to do it?

I'm well aware of your belief in the book. And that you feel it's Satanic. That's not what I'm asking you.
I'm not asking you to save me. In fact, it's not your job. If your god exists, then it's HIS job to "save" me.
I'm asking why you can't be respectful enough not to try to push your beliefs on me.

I, and other Wiccans like me, am not evil. Even if some don't like to believe it.
I "serve" no one. Not even the god and goddess ask us to "serve" them. That's a Christian concept.
I'd like to sincerely thank the open minded Christians that have replied. It's very much appreciated that you can simply disagree without preaching.

I would never tell a person who isn't the least bit interested in God, or in what the bible has to say, what to do.
If a Christian who used to practice these magic arts asked a question about them, namely, should they do them anymore, I would say no.
Hope that helps.

;Ummm, look around you. I am a Christian, I may not believe those things but it is not only Christians who are disrespectful. And for the most part the people who are in here are just posers of Christianity. I have never asked anyone to throw away something because I do not believe in it. My roommate as a matter of fact is Wiccan. She is my best friend. Don't categorize all Christians. They are not the same. Yeah, well it would be a better world if people would get off each others throats. For non theists and theist alike. I believe in the Bible and everything in it. What I know to be wrong and telling people I believe it is wrong are two entirely different things however. It is your belief. Christians who do not caution other people however are in the wrong. We will know when the rapture happens or doesn't happen. If it NEVER happens I will be the first to say I was wrong and everything the Bible says is a lie. If the rapture does not happen I will be sure to come out from my grave and tell you :)

Honey, I am a christian and I used to read tarot cards and use crystals and I studied alot of other stuff like palmistry, etc. However I do not worship these things, I just enjoyed them, however a Ouija board is a different story, I don't recommend messing with them, but the other stuff, I don't see a problem with them as long as you don't worship them.
God be with you, Juanita

Because, in Christian belief, we are called to the "Great Commission." And, if Christianity is true, Christians should be making real sure others get to heaven with them. It isn't about not respecting you, it's about loving others to the point that we do not want others to go to hell.
And, in all honesty, Christians are told to put away their Jesus statues, their crosses, and to shut up all the time. It isn't just you.

If you really dont want to give them up and love them more than salvation, then dont do it! We dont want to suggest anything that is too uncomfortable for you! But we will always call those practices EVIL because that is what God has said.

because I have been where you are
I know the power you serve
I know what it is to use tarot cards, crystals, how to summon spirits, and more.
I know the path it leads to and I pray "in Jesus Name" the truth will set you free
and is is in love I even post this, and say you will not understand until you are baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost.

Misguided, bigoted and prejudiced Christians will never accept that way of thinking. The above-mentioned people I mentioned are no different from the fanatical zealots who killed a lot people in the name of God.
Although I don't believe in what you believe (Islam forbids the practice of witchcraft and black magic). I sympathize with people who are being bullied to accept something against their will.
Peace.

I have never in my life told someone of any religious persuasion, Christian or non-Christian, to throw out objects of devotion or symbols of their faith. Just because someone's beliefs are different from mine does not give me the right to demand that they dispose of objects which clearly have meaning for them.
