It all depends on the type of water you have. If you have city water, I would definetly boil it. If you have a well, I dont see a need to boil. I always had a well where we lived so I rarely ever boiled the water. However, if it makes you feel safe, then you should.

It depends on what kind of water you have.

If you have city water in your tap, you shouldn't have to worry about bacteria in it, but the chlorine is not good for your baby.

If you have untested well water, take a sample to your county health agent (look in the phone book) or to a business which can test the quality and safety of your water. Don't give your baby well water unless you are certain it is free of bacteria and harmful chemicals.

You shouldn't have to boil store-bought water already in bottles.
If you're certain your household water is ok, then you shouldn't have to boil it to feed your baby.

I'm assuming this is your first child, because as your have more children, the obsessing with ultra-cleanliness fades away. You'll find your children are just as healthy, and maybe more so as they are naturally exposed to daily dirt and germs. They will have stronger immune systems because they have developed resistances.

boil it but its best to go to walmart and buy the baby drinking water that they sell in the infants department. but if u can't afford that water then boil it really good to get all the toxins out , but its better to spend the money for the baby water because you don't want an emergency room bill which will be higher than the 2 dollars water

1. Yes, you can give your child boiled water.
2. Call the doctor and see how much the baby can have.
Hope this helps.

You should boil the water, if using tap water. I used to boil enough water to keep in the fridge for days. I wouldn't worry about boiling mineral water or any kind of spring water.

no need to boil it. plus i have read in several magazines that it is a misconception that bottle water is better than tap and that indeed tap water is better for infants. i wish i could remember the exact reasons why they support that to help assure you but i forgot , sorry. look it up though you might be surprised
