okay, so ive known this girl for about three years, and we're pretty good friends, although we're starting to talk less and less.. but the reason we became friends is because i liked her, and i have ever since. how do i make a move without losing her as a friend?

thats a hard question...
but just be yourself and be confident she likes you as much as you like her

Just ask her.............The next time you are together for whatever reason, find the time to say, "by the way, would you like to go get a bite to eat, my treat!" Then hopefully she will say yes, and if so, find the time to say while eating, " You know what?" I don't know why we haven't gone to see a movie together or a concert, or a play.......(pick two) Hopefully she may pick one.........to start.
Then if everything is going o.k., then say you just didin't think she would want to date since you were both such good friends..You didn't want to change anything positive... All you can do is just try...Good luck ..(My husband and I were good friends b/ 4 we married) we went together 1.5 years..

Tread lightly my friend...been there done that, but it turned out I dropped her as a friend after it all came out (long story). She likely already knows, and the fact is that if you have both been single over this time she will think you are a wuss for waiting so long, so your chance is probably passed my friend...
