Should i ask?

This girl said she likes me and i like her. She said she would have to get to know me before anything happens between us. Im not sure if she really wants a relationship because her friends keep pressuring her to be with someone and she hasn't definetly wants to be with me. I don't want to ask her if she wants to be with me. Should i just go with the flow but that could only lead to being friends.
