I am a Freemason and I can assure you that the pope does NOT wear a Freemason ring. Keep in mind that it is quite possible that a symbol on his ring might be a symbol used by Freemasons as well, but that doesn't make him a Freemason.
Look at it this way. The symbol "X" might mean: a kiss, multiplication, railroad crossing, a rating for a dirty movie, etc. Now all appear to be the same symbol, but have different meanings at different times. Keep this in mind when looking for conspiracies and hidden meanings.
As for the Mormons giving 10% to the Vatican, that is total bunk. The LDS organization is very far removed from the Catholic church. Catholics and most other Christians believe that Christ last appeared 3 days after his Crucifixion. Mormons believe that he came again, this time in north America. Now here is where it gets tricky where Masons are concerned. The founder of the Mormon religion was a Mason, and incorporated many Masonic symbols into his faith, but that IN NO WAY associates Masonry with the LDS Church (Mormons). In fact, the 3 (Catholics, Mormons, and Masons) are not related in any way. 2 of those are a religion, and one is a very old fraternity. Of course, both Catholics and Mormons can be Masons as far as Masons are concerned, but the Catholic church frowns upon its members becoming Masons. The Vatican also believes that Christ will come again, but that he has not since his murder are resurrection about 2000 years ago.
Hope that helps.

I'm a little confused... why would Mormons, who aren't Catholic, give 10% to the Vatican?
No, they tithe a portion of their money to the Mormon church. Of which the Vatican is NOT a part.

Think about this! They are very vocal about the Catholic Church. Mormons see Catholicism as being "false" (and Mormonism "true").

The vatican is Roman Catholic, not Mormon.

I believe this to be incorrect. I have friends that are mormons and they don't like catholics one bit.

What do you advise is it "real"? if your query is, "What does the archeological evidence appear like for the historicity of the e book of Mormon?" the respond is it appears that evidently to be fairly devastating for the Mormons' claims. if your query is, "If I pray to God to appreciate if I ought to connect Mormonism, will he answer?" then sure, I have not have been given any doubt you will discover this is real. stable luck with that.

No we don't. We do pay tithing though. tithing is where we give 10% of all we make and give it to the church/god. Then with this money we build new church buildings and new temples. Its also goes to our missionaries to help pay for their missions and to help members who are having problems. hope this helps.
