I have a 12 yr old American Eskimo Dog, a 7 year old Daushchund and a 4 month old Border Collie. The AED is my baby all the way. The Doxie is the best lovey little thing ever. The BC is so smart and learns fast.
I am very blessed to have such wonderful companions :)

Have had some type of animal since I was 5. Unfortunately had to let my pup go to a new home, just not enough room at the apartment, but loves his new family and huge yard (they have 20 acres). Liked when we had at least 2-3 dogs at any given time, each had their own human.

If i was guessing i would have to say about 50 % or more of the population has a animal. i have two dogs, 1 lab, and 1 mini schnauzer.

I would say at least one in three people have dogs, if not more.
I have 6 - a chow/lab mix who is about 10, a fiest who is 3, a fiest mix who is 22 months (and we are in danger of losing her), and her three pups, age 4 months.

a lot of people have dogs, i think for every 3 people, there is a dog. i have 2 dogs, Chihuahua and a lab.

yes, have four! two outside and two inside. The two outside are a German Sheperd and a Rot/Black Lab mix. the two inside are both pits. (well, one is actually an AmStaff, which is a "bully" breed, like the pitbull and other "bull" breeds)
at one time I bred Cocker Spaniels and had five of them as well as a basset, sheperd and a husky. that was about 15 years ago.
when I was growing up we had a husky/wolf mix and a whippet ( small version of a greyhound).

i have one dog she is 13 years old but a rough guess i would say about 50% of people owns dogs more would but they live in apartments where dog ownership is banned
