History Lesson.

The occupying army manned the polling areas to assure that there would be no voting irregularities. Meanwhile, the population went to the polls and voted in unprecedented numbers. When the votes were counted, to no one’s surprise the party in league with the occupying military won the election and began to run the country — while the foreign occupying army got a series of military bases and stayed on and on and on.

Iraq in 2005?

No, it was Poland in 1947, and over 40 years passed before the Soviets left.

Right. There's no difference between Soviet occupied Poland in 47 and Iraq. None at all. Do you read any?

Twisting the historical record and flat out lying is just about the worst way to serve any cause. If you do want to advance the cause of your choice you should be open about what it is.Do you want the return of Saddam? Do you want the insurgents to gain control of the government? Do you revel in the death of US servicemen as much as you seem in your constant gloating? Do you want all those who risked their lives to vote and were quite happy with the result that they were wrong because they were guarded by a kid from Ohio and not killed by a kid from next door? I don't believe in the war but I get the point that you can't see. What is happening now is a fight that has to be won, we had just better stop listening to the shrub and his henchmen and start listening to the people on the ground.
Read the history of Poland again or don't insult the men and women who died for Polska by mentioning them again in you tripe.

YOU have no knowledge about what happened in Poland under any of its occupations -- whether it was Hitler's Germany or the Soviet Union. (and My Grandparents emigrated to the US from Poland -- so I have PERSONAL knowledge of the Pre-WWII and Pre-WWI conditions in Poland, along with the words and memories of my Polish-American Father (Paraplegic -- WWII US Army).

And yes, I AND My siblings have PERSONAL knowledge about the current war on Terrorism -- because WE SERVED our country Proudly -- and although I am now Retired from that Service, My siblings are STILL serving, so that individuals like YOU can have the FREEDOM to spout off with NONSENSE without FEAR -- the FEAR that MY Polish Grandparents left behind when they LEGALLY Immigrated to the US.
