After reading a question about someones friend being very ill; I thought of a question for ya'll.

Will you accept Jesus Christ while you are yet healthy and in the land of the living? Or will you do like theif on the cross and accept Christ right before you life ends?

37 And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself. 38 And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS. 39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. 40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. 42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. 43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

I would like to know why you think if someone is non-Christian, they are a non-believer.
I do not but into the mythology of your religion, so the answer to your question would be NO!

I know you are only trying to help but his is what atheist mean when they say they are tired of people pushing religion down their throats. If you want to help try not to be so pushy. Start a web sight and direct those who wish to learn more to it. The above statement is only going to push people farther away and make them more defensive. I am a true believer by the way and i realize that if people have questions they can always look too the bible or they can ask questions here. The main thing is wait until they ask before you try to change their lives. Peace to you.

it somewhat is extremely an assumption you're making with no longer something to back it up. Muslims are in all probability thinking if it is going to piss you off in case you found out which you have been incorrect and you are going to hell on a similar time as somewhat repentent rapists, murderers and pedophiles bypass to heaven?

Neither.

I haven't accepted Christ and I am extremely ill. I have been in the hospital about 5 of the last 12 months.

I'm not going to "accept" Jesus Christ ever, for the same reason that you will probably never accept Ahura Mazda or Zeus.

swearing allegiance to a name doesn't sound like sound theology to me.

nor does "the carrot and the stick" - rewards or punishment. Maybe it's good for training a dog, but it seems more like an earthly control mechanism than anythong in tune with spiritual reality.

I am an agnostic and no I will not accept Jesus of Nazareth at all ever as a 'savior' because human beings cannot be divine.

the thing is, most non-believers do not believe in heaven or hell, so therefore, what would be the point of accepting jesus at any time? even if they never accept jesus, they believe that they will not be punished. its as simple (or complex) as that.

why would I want to believe in your Idol when I already have a personal relationship with God himself, directly?

wether you like it or not, its a matter of fact that Jesus is NOT needed as a mediator between you and God, you just chose to believe such, when really its just not so.
