The human heart is about the size of your fist. It weighs between 7 and 15 ounces (male 280-340 grams; female 230-20 grams). As for the shape, it's kind of egg shaped, larger on top, smaller at the bottom.
Hope this helps. Also, try the link below.

Your heart is about the size of a closed fist and weighs according to the rest of your body. A preemie would weigh very little where as an adult could weigh 3 to 6 pounds. There are diseases that enlarge the heart and size as well.
Hope this helps~

In Health & Safety class in high school, we were taught the size is the same size as your fist, it weighs a couple pounds, the shape is something else, I wasn't taught that part.

I found a website that gives some fascinating heart facts. "if you are a kid the heart is the size of a fist. If you are an adult it is about the size of two fists." I hope this helps you out for your presentation.

There is a major cultural misconception about weight loss. The vast majority of people think that weight loss is only a concern for the heavy set or obese. This isn't true at all! Almost every single human on Earth is concerned about their weight. This is mostly because there are all sorts of things out there influencing us into thinking that being as skinny as a toothpick is a good thing. It also has something to do with the fact that we, as a society, are becoming a lot more concerned about our health than we used to be. Weight loss is a natural part of being concerned about your health. Keep reading to find hints and tips for people who are concerned about weight loss. Don't drink anything but water. You might not be ready to believe this, but the best way to cut down on your calorie count each day is to simply cut out all of the juices, sodas, energy drinks, booze and other non-water drinks you consume. The best thing to drink is cold water. Water does not have any calories. It can help keep you properly hydrated throughout the day as well as improve your overall level of health. Even if you cut out just two servings of soda pop a day you will be cutting out at least a couple hundred calories (depending on what kind of soda you are drinking). In addition to cutting down on the calories you take in, replacing all of those other drinks with water helps you reduce your sugar intake, how much high fructose corn syrup you consume and other bad ingredients that don't help your health. Don't forget to do strength training when you work out: don't just do aerobic and cardio exercises. It's possible that your focus is mainly on bettering your endurance levels and raising your heart rate. The fact is that if you don't work on strengthening your muscles you won't ever be able to build your workout routines. Gradually increasing your workout intensity is what helps you get into shape and stay fit. If you let yourself reach an exercise plateau, it will be harder for you to lose weight and stay in shape. Strength training is a must if you want to get healthier. Write down your meals for a while. This might seem like a giant pain but it will help you in the long run. The idea here is not to make sure you write down every single calorie that you take in (though doing so can be very helpful later when you need to figure out just how much working out you need to do). A food journal will help you keep track of your food cravings and eating habits. This is how you make your diet successful: you replace junk foods with healthy foods that have the same basic taste as the junkier stuff you crave. For example: try eating real strawberries instead of strawberry flavored ice cream or candy. Keeping a food journal helps you do this, which means you have a better chance of losing weight and finding success with your diet. Weight loss is something that almost everyone is concerned about. Think hard: how many of your friends are on a diet right now? How many people in your life complain about their weight? That should show you that you aren't alone when you worry about how much you weigh. You just have to be smart about your approach to weight loss. It is important that you go after your diet and weight loss goals with the right mindset if you want to have success. Hopefully this article will help you get started.
