Im 15 and me and my girlfirned just started having sex roughly a month ago. This month her period was scheduled for 2 days ago but it has yet to come, we fear she may be pregnant. If she is, can she just take birth control to eliminate whatever is inside of her? We dont want to get a pregnancy test this early

no, birth control will not help right now, she needs to take a test and get this taken care of ... these are the risks you take with sex ... your too young to be doing this if your having an accidental pregnancy ...

she could be late if she's stressing and/or because her body is doing something different now (sexually) ... get her a test and pray for negative but if its not be prepared for getting her through an abortion (legal one) and or be supportive of her & her family.

Just get the pregnancy test. They are cheap and at any drug store. By 2 days late, if she is pregnant it will show up. She could just be late because of nerves. This way you will know and can stop driving yourselves nuts.

And no, birth control will not do anything to stop the pregnancy. She would need to go to a doctor or clinic. Please don't try any home grown ideas. You could really hurt her and make her sick. Just get the test and IF it is positive look in the yellow pages under abortion. Not saying you should get an abortion, but in that section there are phone numbers for people she can call and be anonymous with and tallk about all of her options. Keeping the baby may or may not be right for you at this young age, but adoption is a very real choice. Most women after chosing abortion have had trauma the rest of their lives over their choice. But FIRST take the test. It is no big deal.

*Sigh* All I can really say here is that you really should've been more careful. Especially since your girlfriend might possibly be pregnant. If she's already pregnant Birth Control isn't going to stop it from coming. I don't want to make you feel bad, but you're only 15. You really shouldn't be having sex at all. I want you to realize this. If you really care for your girlfriend, pregnant or not, you'll do right by the child that may possibly be there. Don't abandon her if she's pregnant. That guilt will stay with you for the rest of your life.

Sorry. No amount of birth control will kill the fetus. If you do take a lot of birth control you may damage the fetus. So best thing is to wait to see if you are pregnant and then go from there.

lol... Birth control won't kill the fetus. Once it's done it's done. There's a thing called an abortion. I suggest you grab a Pregnancy Tester right now and make sure. If you're 15 and already screwed up your life this bad I wonder where you'll be in the future.

Not only do i think (if this is true) you and your g/f should have been both aborted, as well as you are both stupid, but hopefully your g/f dies of the increased risk of uterine perforation, bleeding, infection, incomplete abortion, or the many other health risks that come from being stupid and using abortion as a method of birth control, btw condoms are 1 dollar for 12 at the dollar store, how much is an abortion? BTW, I do have you give you credit on making people realize how stupid people can be.

There is a couple of birth control that does this. I think you have to take a double dose of the birth control pills for a couple of days. I should also say that you should try using a condom that works as well for people that dont want to get caught up.

well first of all its a little too early to tell and before anything else you both need to see a doctor --- they will keep it confidential

the doctor can then suggest alternatives ---- anything else may be dangerous to your girlfriends health
