If you are sure he likes you. Then just go up and ask him to the movies before someone ask him out. Just put your shyness in the closet and ask him. If not him my get away cause he may not think you like him for a boyfriend. Just ask there is no harm in doing that.

Go up to him and say how are you today?after a conversation has been started just ask him.hey do you want to go to the movies with me?Don't be shy about it.

If you like him, start a conversation with him and ask him about one of his interests. Ask him what kind of movies he likes so you can find out what he likes, then ask him if he'd like to see a movie in a genre he likes.
