Please suggest some good places that can see red maple leaves. Any place would be fine, but not to far from Toranto.

Do you want to see Red Maple leaves, or do you mean fall colours of leaves and some are red? :p

It's been raining a lot lately so the leaves are falling as we speak. So if you want to see them, you'd better get here this weekend! The farther south you go the more leaves will be on the trees (colder nights makes the leaves change).

Trees are everywhere. You don't have to leave the city at all, there are many pockets of lovely trees. Don Valley, Bluffs, High Park, Mount Pleasant Cemetary (sounds morbid - but is georgeous).

Its a really nice drive with loads of trees near Niagara on the Lake. It is the sweetest little villiage with a candy shop,a christmas store and lots of other unique little shops, we try and go out there at least once a year. Im from Whitby and it usually takes us two and a half hours so probably one and a half hours from toronto.

Or if you want to come out to Durham Region! There is a place just north of Oshawa, Corner of Simcoe St. and Coates road. It is called Purple Woods and you can go there in the winter and they should be tapping all the trees for maple syrup, so you will see almost every tree has a silver bucket collecting sap on it. I really love it there... our family has so many memories of having picnics up there, there was an old log where we used to always sit, and one year we carved all our initials into it.
Hope this helped.

Try the Escarpment reigion just west of Toronto.

Areas are: Halton Hills, Burlington, Milton, Oakville. Take a look on Google Earth or Google Maps to find the locations.
