It's not insecurity, it's humility. Being humble is wise. Admitting you didn't create the universe or have all the answers leads you to look for the creator.

I'm not insecure. I am secure enough to know that im not the greatest thing of all time. I know that someone is greater than me: God is. If you weren't so insecure you'd believe that he is greater than you, too. You wouldn't be trying to make others believe that they are insecure by believing in someone greater. So no, im not insecure. I am very secure!!!! I know that I am going to go to heaven when i die or when the rapture comes, because i believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins, and that there is no other way to get to heaven! So yeah, i think i'm secure! :)

Let me explain by asking you a few questions.
Do you consider yourself to be a good person?
here are a few questions to see....
Have you ever lied (even once--fibs, white lies, etc.)? Ever stolen (anything--the value is irrelevant)? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you ever looked with lust? If you have said "Yes" to these three questions, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart. God has seen everything, even your secret thought life and he demands truth in the inward parts. God even considers hate as Murder. if God Judges you by the standard of the Ten Commandments would you be innocent or guilty? listen to your conscience, you knew it was wrong to do those things, so you would be guilty. the Bible says you will be without excuse on judgement day and the penalty for your sin is death and hell. the Good news is that God has done something special for you. He sent His Son to take our punishment: "God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." He was bruised for our iniquities. Jesus then rose from the dead and defeated death.
Your own so-called “goodness” can’t get you into heaven any more than mine could. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. He is the "Door," the only "mediator." There is salvation in no other name, so pray, Confess and turn from your sins (Repent) and put your full faith and trust in Jesus as Lord and savior, If you will do this, God will forgive you and grant you everlasting life.
Heres the stakes:
If the Christians are insecure ingnorants, and heaven and hell and the afterlife is Non existent, you wont even know its good news. you will simply sleep for an eternity. However if the christians are right and there is an afterlife and a Judgement day and there is a Holy God, you will be in unspeakable trouble, you will lose your soul in hell forever. your playing russian roulllet with a Loaded Gun. I care for you, Im not saying this stuff to be a jerk or trying to get you to join my church. I want you to think about your eternal destiny. Think about what is at stake, because if my eyes meet yours on judgement day, im free from your blood, I have done all that i can by warning you. I think you will look back and say "why didnt that stupid evangelist come through the Computer and slap sense into me!" but triuthfully I dont want to offend you, i cant slap you and I wouldn't but I can slap you with words, not out of malicious intent, but because I care deeply about where you wil spend an eternity.

Actually, it's because I'm secure enough to admit that there IS something greater than me. I'm secure enough to admit that I am not perfect, and I can't do everything.
Why are you so insecure that you have to believe you are the greatest?
