What is the best subwoofer in everybodies oppinion and why?

Its all depending on what you think? NEVER EVER go by what someone else says. There are a million different opinions and the only true one is yours.I could say that PIONEER subs suck, and they could be the best. I myself own 2 rockford fosgate 12s and 3 10s. There are tons of brands out there but only you decide whats best for you.

Boston G5 IMO is the best subwoofer i have ever heard. no it is not the loudest sub ever. but it sounds magical. the accuracy, and clearity is second to none. its cristal clear, without distortion. besides being the best sounding sub i have ever heard, here are a couple other great things about them. the price is only $400. there rms is only 450 watts, which means you dont need a huge expensive amp to push one. plus you wont have to worry as much about your lights diming, and other voltage problems. this woofer is also the only woofer in the world that protects itself from power spikes, that would normally blow a sub, with fuses on the woofer itself. and if somehow you do blow one, its hard to do, the voice coil is a few screws and it comes right out, and you can get a new one. no expensive repairs. awesome sub, awesome technology. however, sense you dont see rappers and other idiots that think cause they have money, they know everything, Boston does not get a lot of attention. however, listen to one, before you jugde them.

I like the new Alpine competition Subs.
They just give out such a nice Bass.
And also are a more precise and accurate
in the sound and tones that they give out.
A cleaner all around sound.

Alpine type R's got two of them bumping in the trunk and the bass is amazing.
