That's a trick question... Right?
Ya see, here's the immediate problem. "Beautiful" is a very subjective word open to a lot of interpretation. Some people think the crap they do on Pimp My Ride makes a car beautiful. Some people think being stock and fully restored makes it beautiful. My idea of beautiful is probably different from yours.
Now let's explore the word "cheap". Pretty much everything I've already said also applies. Besides, if you have to pay to have the work done, cheap is not going to be cheap.
Don't let any small minded meatheads take away your enthusiasm. An '81 'Stang can be turned into a REALLY nice car, but you need to put some time into defining the two key words above.

If the paint is not too bad, take it to an auto detailing shop and have it detailed in and out. You can also get a set of 15" or 16" rims for a very good price at PEP BOYS. What size is the engine? If it is a 6cyl. or and 8cyl. you can get a duel exhaust system from Dynomax. You would probably spend about $1200 for everything mentioned Just keep it clean and you can have a nice little mustang to cruise in.

If youve got the capability, you could put the front end of a later model mustang on yours, such as a 1984 or 1986 model.

put on some mustang GT side skirts 87 to 83 and the rear spoiler. Or I would do the side skirts but put on the 83 earlier rear spoiler.

There are many bolt-ons for your 'stang. Start with wheels, a good set of wheels can make a ride stand out. You can probably find a used set floating around cheap.

i build older cars than that you can find parts in junk yards for cheap like a ecology place or something you just gotta look n you'll find it trust me i've done it
