Yes. Corrections Specialist is its own MOS. As long as your ASVAB ST score is sufficient, and you pass a physical and a National Agency Check, you'll be able to serve as a Corrections Specialist. The MOS used to be 95C, but has been changed recently to 31E.

Is it possible to enlist for less than 4 years? Makes no sense to spend 6-9 months training someone and then letting him leave at the end of 2 years. Huge waste of money.

Enlist for 31B Military Police or 31E Military Police (Corrections)
you can find yourself guarding prisoners in Iraq, Afghanistan, or Cuba, or American prisoners anywhere the military goes.

yes but you join the MP's and then go into a specialty field after that go talk to a recuiter
