you cant transfer vob files to something else because it copyrighted but heres an other way to do it
well it's not that easy first you have to an S-Video Connection or the Yellow-White-Red connection on your computer. programs you can use are Window media Center or Giga Pocket. once you have that chacked connect your DVD player to a VCR than connect Your VCR to Computer (If you connect your DVD player to computer w/o VCR it wont Work) record the movie on your computer when it's playing and from their those 2 programs will either convert to MPG or to AVI

you and go to download.com or any other software download sites and download software that can convert your files if they are located on your pc just put dvd or video converter.
