I am a junior girl scout and my troop is looking for ideas for our Bronze Award. Does anybody know any??

To learn the leadership and planning skills necessary to follow through on a project that makes a positive impact on her community.
What you may do is find an Elderly home and set up a aquarium in their community room and keep it maintained. It not hard and Aquariums have a positive impact on a person's tranquility. Try something about 20-30 gallon size as more of the people can sit back and see it.
Hey, I may not have been a Girl Scout, but, heck, I sure enjoyed camping with them instead of a bunch of guys. ;-)

Bronze project ideas:
Hum, look around your community, what needs fixing?
My troop did an environmental education in neighborhoods. We had a stencil that said, "Keep Clean, flows to river" and we walked around our town painting the curbing next to storm drains with this message. We also, cleaned the area and left flyers with the houses near the storm drains, telling them how anything that goes down that storm drain eventually ends up in our drinking source. Good Luck

Your best resource is your girls. Give them an idea of what a good project involves (community service, leadership, etc.) and then let them brainstorm. They may come up with projects that are a bit too hard or not hard enough and your job is to lead them to a project that works perfectly for them. Afterall, it is their project and they need to take responsiblity for it.

Women don’t want to feel as though they are completely responsible for your happiness and that is what it feels like when the other person has no outside interests. Men who are overeager or jump when the woman says jump are the ones who are more likely to end up in the friend zone. This doesn’t mean that you should play the game of not calling for a few days; it means that you should set healthy boundaries until you both naturally find a spot for the other in your lives.
