If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior and Lord you will not go to hell; however, baptism is the frosting on the cake so I suggest you do it especially since you don't remember if you were already baptised. Baptism should be done when you are old enough and mature enough to understand its true meaning so please do it as soon as possible. I believe you are ready, and you will never regret it.

Don't relax and think there is no hell. If there is no hell then whats the reason for all this evil behavior in the world? It has got to come from somewhere. And guess what? they (those doing wrong) have to go somewhere. you just can't keep doing wrong and live your life the way you want to. In life there are rules and laws to live by and one of the laws is you must be baptized in water and live your life according to the giver of life and then you shall see his kingdom. And if you can't remember if you were baptized it was probably cuz you were a baby and thats more like being presented to christ "to like watch over you while you are young. read your hand book and you will see you need to be baptized.

Sweetheart it is good that you are concerned about your soul. We all need to be baptized true enough but it goes a little further than there. We have to be born again. In other words we need to receive the Holy Ghost. Jesus said except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Except a man be born of water (baptized) and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. For further insight read John 3:1-13. Also read the book of Acts chapters 1 and 2. Definitely focus on Acts 2:38. Please keep in mind that when you are baptized that you are burying sin. I've seen so many get baptized and really don't know the purpose of being baptized. We are supposed to be dead from sin. Once baptized in the name of Jesus we are not to go back out and sin. We are to walk and follow after the spirit and not the flesh (Galations 5:16-26). Sweetheart once we receive the Holy Ghost it will lead, guide and teach us all that we need to know on how to live holy. God said be ye holy for I am holy. Without God spirit in us, yes we will go to hell. For a better understanding on that statement read Romans 8:1-14. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. I pray this advice will help you.

If you go to the Bible, there is a story about Jesus between two thieves, one of which repented and asked Jesus to remember him when He (Jesus) came into His Kingdom. Jesus said, "Today thou shalt be with me in Paradise." He was not baptized, and yet Jesus accepted the thief as one of His own.
When Christ was on earth, He said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one cometh unto the Father except by me. " Therefore, the only way you can miss Heaven is to reject His free gift of salvation. He shed His blood for forgiveness of sin, and as long as you have received Him as your personal Savior, you will go to Heaven. What the outcome of this would be, is that the Holy Spirit will be sent to take up residence in your heart and life, and guide you through the Word to live a Godly life. This is a gift of faith, and nothing outside of asking Him for the gift. Then you find a great Bible-believing church to help you in your needs of fellowhship and growth. I will pray for you. No, you will not go to hell. For two reasons.

Reason number one: There is no such thing as hell, it was invented (the idea of it) by man.

Reason number two: If there was a hell, and being splatted or dunked by some water was the only way to stay out of it, there would be a hell of a lot of people in hell. Millions upon millions. That my dear, is another man-made up rule.

I can answer this with certainty. When Jesus was hanging on the cross next to the two criminals, one accepted him and Jesus said to him "Today you will be in paradise with me". The criminal was not baptised and yet he was promised eternity. All that is required is that you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and become a new creature.

I was taught that baptism was "an outward manifestation of an inward work of Grace". The baptism, in and of itself, was not important. It was only a symbol of something important that had happened inside.

you can check with your church to see if there are records or ask a family member ... you should only need one baptism unless you feel you've lost a connection with your religion and want to renew yourself in thier eyes.
