No, not in all instances. i have known many people who were "devoted' alcoholics but never touched a drug. But then again I have known many who did a little of everything. You could say it is realted though, simply because they call alcohol a drug, I personally do not agree with that, but who am I ? SO if you believe alcohol is a drug, then yes alcolholism is drug related

Alcohol IS a drug. It's the last legal drug out there. People who are alcoholics are usually addicted to some type of hard drug, too. Cocaine, X, prescriptions, etc.
