do u mean, how do you say birthday in spanish? if so, its cumpleanos because "cumple" means basically to finish, or complete, and anos is years. so you finish a year. hope this helps. oh and btw sorry i dont know how to do the squiggly line (ene) over the n.

Your question is a little twisted: but The spanish word for Birthday is Cumpleaños. If you want to, you can add Feliz (happy) - Feliz Cumpleaños

Birthday literally means´"día de nacimiento"
but if u want to say
Happy birthday = feliz cumpleaños
it's my birthday= es mi cumpleaños

So all of those answers are correct. But you should phrase the question differently, because asking what the translation of a word is and its meaning aren't necessarily the same. By the way, it refers to the number of years completed.

I would like to make clear that "Birthday" alone does not mean Happy b-day!! It only means "día de nacimiento" (day of your birth), which is commonly known as "cumpleaños".
