I know, even on YA the most favoured are whites and hispanics (which they really mean native and white mixes). I think there should be some psychological test done on babies and ask them which person they prefer better, show pictures of different races. Because adults have been subject to so many images in the media that promote white beauty you can never be sure it didn't have an influence on them.

As a mother of bi-racial children, I HATE the term "mixed"!!! Are we talkin' drinks, breeds of animals or are we talking about the racial make-up of an individual? Because if you stop and think about it, we're all "mixed" in one way or another. (Has anyone traced their family history lately?) Now with that being said, I get so tired of these racially charged questions about who to like and who not to like because of skin color of ethnicity. I don't know how many times I have to say it, if you like someone and they like you, then just run with that. Stop being so ignorant as to think that skin color/race has anything to do with finding the right person for you. This is the 21st century, let's live like it!!!!!!!!!!
