if adrenaline is a stress reaction / "fight or flight" response
then why are there so many people attracted to
rollercoasters, and extreme sports that produce adrenaline?



why are there people why are there people who dont like them; are fearful of anything adrenaline producing?

adrenaline is certainly produced in things like roller coasters etc but it is certainly not the flight response, these people do these things for fun and thats it. it lasts for a few minutes and then goes away, so no harm done. in terms of fear, it takes significant fear to produce adrenaline, not just the fear of heights would produce plenty, but if you place this person on top of a 90 story building, then this much will be produced, hope it answers your questions, good luck
