I offered my sister a ride home from school and she demanded why i was few minutes late...actually there was a jam...i feel angry and hurt because i am the one fetching her...what should i do? should i send a letter to my mum and my sister even tho we all live in the same house? or shud i read the whole letter out to them....any better suggestions?

well ur already on the right track just by wanting to communicate, i would read the letter in person though so that you can discuss it as a family afterwords, also request from them that they please listen to you first before anyone starts to talk about it, maybe start with something like "i'm really frustrated because i dont mind doing things like this for you, but i feel like you're taking advantage of me and dont appreciate it.." and so on and so forth, i think a letter is a great idea, writing your feelings down ahead of time will allow you to keep your thoughts collected and stay focused on the issue at hand, rather than starting a random conversation that ends with a yelling match. maybe after you're done reading you can suggest that your mom and sister also collect their thoughts and write their responses out to prevent an argument and so that they can get their feelings and opinions across too, you sound like a person who is very emotionally productive, stay strong in your resolve and good luck :)

My sister is the same way. We have never really gotten along. If she needed something she expected it right away, but if I asked for a favour the answer was always "that depends" For years I covered for her having a huge house party and never got any appreciation for it at all. She expected me to cover for it, but if things were reversed it would be different. Things are a little better now. I don't live with her anymore. I am married and have a one year old. She buys my daughter presents for no reason at all. She is just very selfish. As you both get older things will improve.

Your problems are minor compared to mine. I loaned my sister my new van will my family and I went on vacation. She crashed it and told me that I was selfish for expecting her to pay my deductible. She is lucky that I didn't make her pay for the repairs in full. She was incarcerated for 4 months and i took care of her 2 children. I also paid the rent in her apartment while she was incarcerated and bought my nephew new clothes for school and after wards she told her friends that I have never done anything for her. So to everyone who has an ungrateful sister, I say cut them lose.
