Please dont feel insulted but at the age of 13 your weight may simply be due to baby fat. Just before we go into puberty our bodies store up fat to help us through the major changes that take place as we mature into men and women. If you are already well into your puberty then perhaps you should consider your eating habits. Eat healthy food, excercise and use small plates that way the food you put on it looks like a full plate. Good luck and dont get too emotionally hung up on your weight. All will work out in the end if you eat properly and excercise.

Eat a well balanced diet. Stay away from Soda, and candy. Try eating a few small meals a day, rather than one or two big ones, it helps keep your metabolism up. What ever you do don't starve yourself! A lot of people think skipping meals will make you skinny; that is untrue and very unhealthy. Moderation is the key.
