Yes. Even when a woman wants to have a baby, it can often be hard for some women to take care of themselves during the pregnancy. It is hard to take care of a newborn no matter what. Why should a woman give birth to a child she does not want? If a woman is doing drugs or drinking during her pregnancy the child will most likely be born with lots of problems, that is not fair to the child. It is our responsibility as adults to give a baby the best start possible, so in those cases abortion may be the best choice.

Yes I do believe in it. If someone is considering abortion it is probably because they are not financally or mentally ready to raise a child which is a huge responsibility. They are better off having a choice rather than either being an abusive parent or dumping the baby off in a dumpster somewhere. I don't even want to think about what would happen if they ever made abortion illegal, the horror stories you will hear on the news. I am a single parent and I choose to keep my baby( who is now 27) but it is good to know that I had a choice on what to do with my body and life.

It is a hot issue, and most enlightened people understand that there are situations where an abortion should be performed. I don't agree with the wholesale issue of abortion on demand as a means of birth control, because at some point, a fetus is viable outside the womb. Premature babies as early as 24 weeks gestation have survived and thrived nicely outside the uterus.
I am totally against partial birth abortions. Its a way to get by the laws dealing with abortion, and killing a viable baby before the mothers body is ready to deliver it.

Abortion is outright murder of innocent babies who have no voice to speak for themselves. About the argument that it's a woman's body, I will use the argument from the Bible, our bodies are not our bodies, they are the temple of God. Meaning that God gave us our bodies to use for his will, and killing a baby is against his will. In the book of Duteronomy, God said Choose LIFE & Blessings or Death and cursings.
As a parent of 3 kids, I believe that abortion is wrong. Especially used as birth control. There are many, many couples out there who are unable to have kids of their own, and would make great parents, and the only way they can have children is through adoption. So if a woman doesn't want to have the baby, give that child up for adoption. Chose Life.
Here in South Dakota on Nov. 7th, we will be voting on a law that was refered to the people, if this law passes it will make abortion illegal in SD with an exception for when the mother's life is in danger. But women who get pregnant from rape or incest will be able to get the morning after pill. Something that Planned Parenthood and the Pro-Abortion groups don't want people to hear.
I am VERY much against abortion because it's murder.

I believe in abortion the same as I believe in anything that exists so yes.
Do I believe it is right or wrong ? I believe there are extenuating facts in each case, and it does not have a right or wrong answer.
Do I believe people should have the choice to have an abortion ? Yes I believe it is up to each individual to choose for themselves whether to have an abortion or not. Again there are extenuating circumstances in each case, and it not a decision others should make for an individual.

No! i don't believe in abortion, abortion is killing a real living human being and for those who really don't want a child or feel they can't look after a child can put it up for adoption so other good families can bring them up, because there are women out there who are unable to conceive and therefore adopt children, so they do go to great and capable families. Of course i strongly encourage keeping the child but adopting out is the way to go if you either don't want the child or feel you aren't capable of bringing one up. Abortion is wrong! and shouldn't be encouraged at all in the world today, but 1000's of women perform this act every day and it does sadden me.

I am 18 years old, My girlfriend and i had been together for over a year and then she fell pregnant. The hardest decision in her life was to have the abortion!! Its scared her for life and me aswell, as her loving (now ex bf) i will never know the pain and trauma of having to 'get rid of it' as they say. I believe we are here all for a reason, so don't get rid of your baby. It spoils a good relationship and makes you sub-conscious for the rest of your life.
or you cud just not get pregnant in the first place

I am pro-choice.. Why....for many reasons. I am also Very pro-birth control and adoption. 100's of thousands of women have died trying to terminate their pregnancy.. Good, Bad, What ever the reasons ,just because it would become illegal does not mean it would stop. Woman have been terminating for many years. Instead of there being a pro choice or a pro life why not focus on the problem at hand... which is unwanted pregnancy.. BIRTH CONTROL and EDUCATION. Otherwise it really is the woman's choice let her deal w/ any repercussions... God tells us not to judge.

I wish a woman would not choose that option. However, I am not going to take that right of choice away from her. I would not want any of my choices taken away from me (on other issues). It will be a decision that will not be taken lightly and will have a lasting impact on her, not matter what she chooses. God help her anyway.
