the answer depends on what country you mean and what specific birds are from that country ..but in general most birds of prey will stay in the same hunting area all their adult lives.. and will keep the same nest site and just add to it or repair it as it is needed i know off a wedge tailed eagle nest that is about 15 feet across and takes up nearly the whole top of an old tree have been watching this nest since 1982 and it was around 6 or 7 feet then ...

Many of birds of prey will return to the same nest site year after year, such as Red-tailed Hawks, Cooper's Hawks, and Bald Eagles. They will add to the nest yearly, as the nest will become delapadated after not being attended to during the winter. Some Bald Eagle nests become HUGE after years of added nest material. However, some nests will disappear completely over the winter, in which case they will rebuild it in the same spot, or rebuild elsewhere...so they don't necessarily have the SAME nest over a lifetime, but can use the same nests for many years! Sometimes the tree the nest is in may fall, therefore forcing the birds to find a new nest site.

Most eagles tend to keep the same nest. They tend to build on it every year and end up with this huge construction many story's high. these nest sometimes become unstable and it has been known for people to have rebuild them for the eagle.

My partner once had to shimmy down a cliff face in Scotland with a baby golden eagle in a back pack and rebuild the nest because she had fallen out.

The same nest from birth to death? None that I know of at all. That's kind of impossible as you'd have to share the nest with other birds and since the elements wouldn't be nice to it.

However, if you mean the same mates, there are a lot of birds that do this. The bald eagle is one bird that comes to mind.

most of your birds of prey do keep them year after year, unless they have been driven from it for some reason as far as bald eagles go they're a lot of them here in michigan and they add to them every year one of the first to show up in this area bout 25 years ago is so big that couple of grown men could use it for a bed and commenting on another answer eagles around here start to mate in jan. & feb. coldest months of the year so yes they do use them in late winter

Eagles and osprey do this. They keep adding to the nest over the years and it gets really big.
