Because the federal government needs everyone to accept so-called diversity for the stability of the republic. Brainwashing white folks with so-called diversity is a way to keep the majority from rising up and committing violent acts against the 3rd World garbage the federal government has decided to bless us with. These people are being imported here in an effort to have more taxpayers to prop up entitlement programs like Social Security and to circumvent various regulations and taxes that businesses have to pay when they hire legal American citizens. And of course they have co-opted the Civil Rights Movement's machinery and paradigm of victimhood.
I've read the varioius answers to your question posted by other users and of course they do not answer your question. Instead they resort to attacking you personally because they find your opinions so horrific and out of line with what they are being force fed by the media and their educational institutions. I implore these folks to look at the history of multi-ethnic empires such as Rome, Austria-Hungary and the Ottoman Empire to see what happens to so-called diverse peoples. I
f diversity is so great then why must we constantly be reminded why it's so great? Obviously because it isn't all it's chalked up to be, especially when the Mainstream Media airbrushes its warts.
Why is the Balkanization of the US so great? Why is it so great to import people from nations that are filth and have to accommodate them when they will not assimilate? Why must the American taxpayer subsidize these folks when they could be poor in their own nations and not receiving entitlement benefits? Why must I pay homage to someone that is illiterate in their own language and who comes from a culture that has not really accomplished much? Sure their food may taste good but their cultures are inferior. And the argument that America was founded by immigrants is ludicrous. Every group of people on the Earth migrated from somewhere. The US was founded on Judeo-Christian principles by white guys using the English tradition and Enlightenment philosophy as its backbone. Sure they brought immigrants here but they didn't celebrate so-called diversity. These people were forced to assimilate and there were no entitlement programs for them to abuse. Look at the Italians and the Irish. Look at the Chinese and the Japanese and the Koreans.
The folks who read this response will attack me personally because they do not have logical data to back up their opinions. This is called an "ad hominem" attack. I really don't care. Diversity isn't great. I don't want to live around disease ridden 3rd world scum. Let them assimilate in a generation or two if they choose too; otherwise, American culture is fine how it is, or at least it was fine about 20 years ago before George Bush the First took office and started pushing his idea for a North American Union.

Someone answered, "Diversity breeds understanding and tolerance." That is totally inaccurate. Diversity teaches people to be proud of their race, which makes people think that their race is the best, which makes people dislike other races.
Instead of emphasizing our differences, we should forget about our differences and emphasize that we are all human beings. This is the best way to get along.
Look at college campuses. Colleges cram the idea of diversity down students' throats. As a result, there are black clubs, and hispanic clubs, and feminist clubs. This is voluntary segregation. This is why diversity and liberalism are philosophies of idiots.
If you want to be proud of a race, be proud of the human race. We might just get along this way instead of emphasizing our differences.

Diversity, this can be good or bad. When you think of a world without it, we would all be " CLONES " and that would suck.
It is like, being married, yeah you love your wife, but after a while sex can get boaring. So you start banging your best friends wife, that is diversity. Diversity can be both good and bad, yeah your cheating on your wife, but at the same time your having awsome sex, well until your buddy comes home early from work , but that goes back to diversity can be both good and bad.
Hope that helps.

Oddly, no one has pointed out that true diversity would require us to accept those who do not believe in diversity. Ironic, isn't it?
You are certainly entitled to your opinion and I understand the reluctance to having anything forced upon you. But I suggest that you are doing yourself a disservice by not allowing a little diversity in your life. You would really be surprised what someone different can teach you. Give it a try, but on your terms.

Life is rather boring without diversity. What kind of diversity do you mean? Do you just not like minorities, or people from other countries? Or does it bother you that not everyone wears the same clothes on the same day or something? I don't get it. If you get overstimulated by having options I recomend a lobotomy.

All humans are born free and equal. No white child is better or worse than a black one, and vise versa. Diversity is what allows people of different races, ethnic and religious groups to bring them closer, understand each other, and prevent any form of hatred. Each human being is a unique and cannot be judged about his/her character based on race, ethnicity, religion or affiliation with any social group. That's what America stands for. If you think that America was created exclusively for white christian people, than you are dead wrong!
Read the U.S. Constitution!

It is simple minded for someone to claim they don't like diversity. I couldn't imagine a world without diversity and the joy of experiencing new ideas, people, customs, food, life, etc. It may be that you are ashamed of your situation and have nothing to offer a person of another race. Investigate who you are and be proud of who you are and recognize the attributes of others.

What diversity is try to get at is that there are many types of people that make up this world. Do not limit your school, church, business or government to just one race. You can have excellence, creativity, good work ethics, and success with a diverse group of people. Open your mind. We had it in the Military.

People like you are why America is divided in two.
Diversity is the spice of life. The challenge is living together. You don't have to like it, but you will never get around it.
Hatred is bringing us down. Intolerance is dragging us to new levels of discontent & animosity.

Hmmm.....ever consider the earth as one color. One shade of green for the trees, no rainbows...just damp, plain days? Only like one kind of music? One instrument? Diversity builds our creativity!
If, by chance, you mean that 2 ppl are going for the same job and the lesser qualified gets it due to race...then I agree. But companies thrive on diversity...and personally....my eyes go soft for the beauty in an Asian child's face or a handsome Latin. I love to see a Haitian family on their way to church or enjoy a cultural meal at a friend's home. I encourage my child to make friends with everyone to build her level of tolerance and expand her world.
Sounds like you're missing out on a lot of amazing sites. I hope you find the joy in the beautiful colors God gave each one of us. I hope you enjoy an Italian meal one night and a French dessert the next. I hope you admire the amazing muscles on the black athletes or the passion for learning that the Indian families have or enjoy walking the Trail of Tears of the Cherokee....endless things to be in AWE of diversity. Go out and change your thinking...you'll love it out there!
